About The Farm
The Cable Community Farm is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to growing food and building community. Founded in 2013, our farm quickly became a hub of learning and growing in our community. For the first ten years of its operations, the Farm operated on leased land at Perry Lake Road, on 35 acres of mixed hardwood forest and open pasture.
During the Summer of 2024, the organization purchased 6.9 acres of field at 42915 Short Road to begin building a permanent new home. Since purchasing land, leadership has been hard at work planning and developing the infrastructure needed to open to the community once again. We look forward to growing food with our neighbors again during the 2025 season!
Our Mission
The mission of the Cable Community Farm is simple: grow food and build community. We envision our community with abundant access to healthy, affordable food and our farm as a hub for learning and growing. We value sustainability, inclusivity, and collaboration.
